Episode #28 Dismissing feedback

The one bit of feedback you choose to ignore could be the reason you don’t get promoted this year.

It can be hard to receive feedback, especially when that feedback is negative, or something we don’t agree with, or it comes from someone we neither like or respect.

But receiving and implementing feedback is necessary for your growth and integral to your progress.

In this episode I explain why dismissing feedback is a form of self sabotage that could be the one thing that stops you progressing this year, and I give you a clear framework for receiving and implementing feedback so that you keep learning, keep growing and give them more and more reasons to promote you.

P.S. Receiving and implementing feedback is one of the skills I teach and coach you on in Be The First Coaching for Black Lawyers so you progress quickly and sustainably. Enrolment for the next cohort opens in March.
