Connection. You can’t build a relationship without it.
With some people it’s just easy. You meet, you talk, you hit it off immediately. But if you want to get ahead in your legal career you can’t rely on the effortless connection you form with people who are just like you. You need to be able to connect with anyone.
This isn’t always easy.
When you meet someone who looks different to you, dresses differently, speaks differently, has a different background to you, is from a different culture .. is at a different level of seniority or even that they work in a different part of the firm, your brain may register this as a barrier and make you think connection isn’t possible.
This isn’t true.
It’s easy to build connection. You just need to know how.
In episode 20 I bring you Building Connection. I give you the 3 steps that will draw people to you and make it easy for you to connect with them.
