Episode #36 For Growth’s Sake

What I’ve discovered this month, is how much more satisfaction there often is in growing and making progress, than in actually achieving specific goals.

Now don’t get me wrong. You know I’m all about setting goals and being ambitious, and I know many of you are too. But I also know that if we only focus on the concrete achievements, we miss out on the huge amount of fun and fulfilment there is to be had along the way.

So this week I want to encourage you to commit to growing for growth’s sake – in other words, to value the journey to achieving your goals as much as you value the goal itself. Not because that journey is easy (it’s often not!) but because of what you learn and who you become along the way.
