A safe environment

I joined the programme because I am passionate about progressing my career and taking on management and leadership roles. What surprised me most about the programme was the safe and trusted atmosphere created which resulted in open and frank sharing among the cohort As a result of this programme I am being more intentional and active in my effort to create the opportunity and track record to progress into a leadership role. I now have tools for addressing the repeated mental and emotional barriers to dealing positively with the external environment Before this programme I felt frustrated with the lack of control while hearing / reading leaders state that "your career is in your hands". But now I feel much more positive as I'm taking tangible steps towards my goals. Caroline coached me directly and others in the class environment as well as worked with the class whole class. The general principles taught, specific examples and scenarios worked through have all been a great help. For me the best thing about this programme was it helps participants work through a tangible approach to working towards professional goals If you're considering Group Coaching I'd recommend it strongly. Caroline was generous with both her personal examples and created a safe environment for participants to be honest and vulnerable to make breakthroughs. A big thank you to Caroline and the D&I team for making the course available.

Challenges you in the right way

I joined this programme to progress my career and be promoted to the next level. I had some concerns as group coaching is not something I have done before, and this was a programme only for ethnic minorities. But I trusted the process and was surprised by the high level of coaching I received. My biggest result was taking away some key models and concepts I can come back to in the future. I really enjoyed working with Caroline! She is easy to talk to. Very engaging. She is very knowledgeable and always present in the session no matter what. She challenges you in the right way and is invested in your success. If you are considering Group Coaching, I would say don't be scared, go for it, you will get out of it as much as you put in and you will no doubt end up helping others in the group. The best thing about this programme was being coached by Caroline and her open style!
